Simple visual storytelling in a no-frills layout design pairs three similar photos together for a very elegant, natural ending to the wedding day. Again portrayed visually by varying the widths of the image and changing the angles in the frame. Vertical cropping for ring exchange album design discussion

Outdoor wedding photographers album Buffalo NY, originally uploaded by Neil Cowley. In this horizontal spread, I cropped the images in a tight panoramic 1:5 format to show the tight moments of the bride and groom placing the rings on each other’s fingers. The tight spacing and blurred edges allow for a quick ‘read’ of the eye across the page and back – that emphasis is heightened by the horizontal bars of color running through the background of the image.
