Using Blend modes in Adobe InDesign wedding album pay layout

Charlotte North Carolina Artistic Wedding Album Design, originally uploaded by Neil Cowley. In this simple two image page layout, I added a dynamic element to the interplay of the two images by using two elements: A full page texture, which I call a ‘lighting overlay’ placed in Overlay Blend Mode The second, horizontal image is placed on the dark brown background in Lighten Blend Mode. Vertical cropping for ring exchange album design discussion

Outdoor wedding photographers album Buffalo NY, originally uploaded by Neil Cowley. In this horizontal spread, I cropped the images in a tight panoramic 1:5 format to show the tight moments of the bride and groom placing the rings on each other’s fingers. The tight spacing and blurred edges allow for a quick ‘read’ of the eye across the page and back – that emphasis is heightened by the horizontal bars of color running through the background of the image.
